Winter Jazz Camp July 2024.
Summer Jazz Camp is 1st week of January.
Winter jazz camp is a non-residential camp held over three days at the JWA studio in St Leonards. It includes groups for beginner to advanced jazz students. It is open to ages 9 to 16. This camp is for people who can already play an instrument and are at least good enough to play in a school band. Pretty well any instrument is fine for this camp: check with us if you aren’t sure. Vocalists can do the camp if they are prepared to use their voice as an instrument, just like everyone else.
There are groups for inexperienced, intermediate, and experienced jazz students.

Other JWA holiday camps
During school holidays we often run short camps and workshops for children, teens, and adults.
Every year there is Winter Jazz Camp in July and a residential Summer Jazz Camp in January. We sometimes have camps and short workshops at other times, during school holidays, weekends, or evenings.
