Update: Ashely Stoneham finished teaching at JWA after a happy and busy year and is replaced by Ryu Kodama. Ash decided to stop teaching so he can focus on performing, recording, and touring. We send with him our best wishes.
It is with unparalleled pleasure that we welcome our wonderful new drum teacher Ashely Stoneham to JWA. Ashley will be taking over from the terrific Craig Naughton who has decided to stop teaching.
Ashely Stoneham is a highly-qualified, experienced drummer and educator. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he works as a performer in diverse settings from jazz to avant-garde to hip hop to indie and pop. Ashley has taught drums and percussion in schools and music studios. He is currently studying for a postgraduate Master of Teaching through the University of New England.
A Jazz Workshop Australia alumnus, it is exciting to have Ashley back with us – this time as drum teacher.
