We’re starting two new Adult combos – Jazz Workshop Australia – off the back of the very successful return of Adults’ Jazz Camp, and to accommodate new players.
A new adults introductory group will be 7pm pm Thursdays. This groups is for musicians who are new to jazz and improvising but can already play their instruments. Complete beginners should take private lessons for a term or two at least before starting in a group. The main teacher will be Dr Saul Richardson.
A new intermediate combo will be 6pm on Thursdays, taught by Australian saxophone legend Peter Farrar! This group is suitable for those who’ve completed the introductory class or have some experience playing jazz and improvising.
Both new groups are open for enrolment now. Rehearsals start Thursday 27 July.
