JWA drum teachers
Our drum teachers are Ashley Stoneham and Luke Hennings. Both are skilful and experienced teachers who really care about their students. Education is a priority for them and they want you/your child to succeed. Like every teacher at Jazz Workshop Australia, Ashley and Luke are supported by a strong and successful academy program that offers their students many great opportunities to gain performing experience and to be extend as musicians.
Ashley Stoneham is a graduate of Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a bachelor of music (jazz performance) He is also currently studying for a postgraduate master of education. He is an in-demand freelance and session drummer as well as a regular member of bands Delay 45 and Sagrada Familiar. Luke Hennings is a freelance jazz and contemporary drummer and a regular member of the band Tarros Ladder and often plays with Misa Jazz.
