Trombone lessons are available with Tim Coggins. Lessons cost $41/half hour or $80/hour for weekly lessons, paid in advance. Lessons are on Monday and Tuesday. Students of all levels and ages are welcome.
Tim Coggins, B.Mus (Jazz)
Tim is an experienced and successful teacher who is dedicated to his students and to the importance of jazz education. His lessons are individualised to suit a particular students needs and goals. This includes technique, repertoire, reading, theory, aural skills and general musicianship. While he specialises in Jazz he teaches traditional methods of playing and is able to take students through exams including ABRSM, AMEB and JWA.
Tim is also busy as a performer. He is a “side man” in many Sydney jazz bands, leads his own group the TC Sextet, and plays in big bands including Judy Bailey’s Jazz Connection and Jenna Cave’s Divergence Jazz Orchestra.
We recommend Tim as a teacher for students of all ages and levels. He can also take students through HSC music and uadition preparation.
